Gastronomic Japan is a food and drink culture, style and travel website. We aim to feature Japanese restaurants both in Japan and abroad that are a little less known but still provide a unique experience. Similarly, we feature chefs using Japanese ingredients and cooking styles in both a traditional and modern way. Top culinary travel destinations are explored as well. Restaurants from Ramen to sushi and Kaiseki to Japanese curry houses are featured. We also have a section where we go in depth with Japanese ingredients like miso, yuzu, togarashi, kombu etc and show how they are used in traditional recipes and what some creative chefs doing with them.
