The Company dates back to the early fifties when Mr. Joseph Galea founded Windsor Upholstery as a sole trader. In 1971, a limited liability company was formed under the name of Windsor Co. Ltd. and a new and professional management set-up was adopted to be able to tackle the considerable production expansion the company was experiencing, not only in terms of volume but also as a result of a number of new related products introduced. In 1977 a sister Company named Windsor Interiors Ltd was formed. This Company invested in a two story showroom and sold products supplied mostly by Windsor Co Ltd and also purchased from various suppliers. In 1995 Windsor Interiors started importing Bedroom Furniture and Sitting room suites from Italy. In the year 2002 another showroom was opened in another aria which famous for furniture shops. Over the years, the group has gained a reputation for consistent supply of quality products and services. Today it is considered to be one of the leading interiors manufacturing companies on the island; specializing in bedding, soft furnishings bedspreads, quilts and curtains including the supply of various fabrics for both the domestic and contract work. A concrete proof of our success are the major contracts won by the company to supply, amongst others, hotels of international repute such as Corinthia Towers Praque, Royal Corinthia Budapest and Coriinthia Alfa Hotel Lisbon besides major Hotels in Malta.
